Come along to a Barbecue

A barbecue at Tony and Jane Churly's home will take place on Sunday afternoon, 13th September. Please see the emails, sent out by Roger Taylor or contact Jane on 078108 71578. £16 per person, in aid of the Twinning Club. A raffle will take place with the brilliant prize of the hamper given to the Club by the Olivet Club at the reception in June at Olivet.

Finally....

There is also a “Cercle français"
A group of Twinning Club members who meet the third Tuesday of the month in members’ homes with the aim of covering all things French and ultimately improving our language skills. 
It is a very informal gathering with lots of chat (in French preferably), coffee and biscuits and reading and understanding texts in French, translating texts from English to French, listening to French songs and a quiz about all things French.
The group comprises native French speakers, fluent French speakers and less fluent French speakers and this mix provides a great dynamic. The Group is full at present, but vacancies occur from time to time “
