Since 1982, when the two towns twinned, the activities of the twinning clubs have regularly featured in the local press both in Fakenham and in Olivet.

During the 2012 Club visit to Olivet, Dorian and Kit took part in a local petanque match.
Kit (Price Moss) was partnered with their host (the late) René Médioni.
They won an enormous cup!
