The Club’s Constitution states that the aim of the Club is to foster the twinning established between Fakenham and Olivet by giving encouragement and practical help to individuals, clubs and associations wishing to forge links with or visit Olivet.

There are members of the Club involved at the very beginning, who are still visiting their French friends, demonstrating that strong bonds can be formed by being welcomed into a stranger’s home in a foreign land.

Apart from the visits the Club holds organises social events for members during the year, some of which are fund-raising events, such as Fish & Chip Quizzes, French - themed evenings, walks followed by a lunch and so on.
Members come not only from Fakenham, but from the surrounding villages. There are currently 35 members – see below for information about becoming a member. To be added later.
